When your car gets to the place where you can feel the grit sticking to the paint finish it is time to Clay off the contaminants. Washing isn't enough to give it that silky smooth finish you desire, try detailing clay to remove the residual contaminants. Detailing Clay is the most effective way to remove stubborn environmental contaminants such as tar, bugs, factory fallout, paint overspray and brake dust from your car's finish. This 8oz. medium grade bar is recommended for older cars or highly contaminated surfaces. It will loosen and lift away dirt and contaminants when used correctly. Just spray the surface with our Blue Mist lubricant, pull off a chunk of clay, pancake it flat and wipe the clay over the sprayed area allowing it to glide gently over the surface. Use 50% overlap with each pass until the panel is smooth to the touch. As the bar picks up contaminants, fold the dirty area into itself creating a new clay surface. Use a towel to wipe away excess lubricant. If the lubricant dries, re-spray before claying the area. DO NOT push down on the clay as remove contaminants, letting the clay and lubricant do the removal. If the clay sticks, use more lubricant. If you drop the clay on the ground - THROW IT AWAY! Do not risk scratching your surface! Store clay in a closed container or zip lock bag. This package includes five medium grade clay bars for $45.00. (Retails for more than $100.00)
